Is it possible (and if so how) to have one Base guest that will not be changed and then have multiple different children running from it.

For example. The base guest has OS and say office applications.
1st Child - Development
2nd Child - App Version 1
3rd Child - App Version 2
4th Child - App Version 1 Customisations for Customer 1
...

If I understand you correctly, this question came up more than once so
