The subject says most of it. I want to use two NIC's from the guest
OS's, all running some form of Linux. Is it possible? Doesn't seem so,
but I hope I'm wrong.

It is possible. I've used multiple NICs in Windows guests. Have you
gone into Edit, Virtual Network settings? That will allow you to bind
VMnets to specific physical NICs. Then assign the virtual NICs to the
desired VMnets. Rebooting isn't necessary, you can change NICs on the
fly.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. I don't want to change NICs on the fly. I know
how to do that. I want a multi-homed client. Something that will allow
me to use the routing capabilities of my Linux client virtual machine.

That was just one point I was making.

This is covered in the manual. Go to the "Custom Networking
Configurations" section.

Ah yes - I see. All I had to do was add the virtual NIC. That's the
part I was missing!

Thank you.
