Sorry for the crossposting, I wasn't sure where to direct this...

I am the president of a local Linux (and Unix) User Group in Southeastern
Connecticut (US), and am I looking for a possible guest to bring in to do
a talk/demo on VMware products, technologies, future goals and vision,
and other relevant areas of discussion. The talk would only be about 45
minutes long with a short Q&A afterwards. Depending on whether or not a
VMware representative can come down, we may be able to get a group of
between 20-200 people. We would prefer the latter, of course, for the
mutual benefit of both of our groups (VMware as a business, and exposure
to Linux within our relevant industries).

I've called Amber Rowland already and left a message on her voice mail at
VMware, but I'm not sure she is the best person to ask, so I'm posing my
question here for redundancy.

Are there any VMware representatives in the New England US area that
could come down to one of our monthly meetings and give a talk/demo on
VMware's current (and future?) product line?

If so, please contact me via the email addres on this posting, and I will
coordinate the arrangements as best as I can for travel, timing, and so
on.

Thanks to everyone who can respond, in advance.

VMware is sold through vendors across the US, with techs employed by
vmware in most regions (I assume 'most' .. my initial region was NE ohio
and they had one there... my current region of the Bay Area I assume has
one or 2 as well...) .

Considering the forum, I am sure you can get a vendor to show up and do
some sales stuff for you and perhaps even bring along a sales tech.
